Chinese Calligraphy

Mesmerised by the beauty of Chinese characters? Curious to try an art form that’s both traditional and surprisingly creative? In our CCA, calligraphy is calm, rewarding, and full of expression.  You’ll practice the elegance of 楷书 (standard script), explore other styles like 行书 (cursive script), and experiment with different formats — from rice paper to fans and lanterns! Every brushstroke is a step toward skill and self-expression, and every piece you create is uniquely yours! 🏮🖌️ 

We’re also right in the middle of the action during big school events like Chinese New Year (CNY) and Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF). Our booths buzz with festive energy as we write couplets, showcase works, and share brush-and-ink fun with the school community. It’s lively, meaningful, and a chance to bring calligraphy out of the classroom! 😎🥰

At the heart of it all is the community. We’re a close-knit, down-to-earth group where everyone supports each other and enjoys the process together. It’s easy to make like-minded friends and feel at home in a space where everyone is approachable and relaxed. 🙌🏻😋
