WHAT IS STUDIO ARDENT? 📸
A picture speaks a thousand words, but what if you could be the storyteller behind those words? At Studio Ardent, we don’t just take photos and videos; we capture emotions, preserve milestones, and shape the way our school remembers its most treasured moments.
As a Service and Enrichment CCA, Studio Ardent plays a vital role in supporting major school events through its photography, videography, and PA/AVA services. From the sparks of Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns to the energy of C1 Orientation, we ensure that each occasion is documented and celebrated through our photos and montages. We also render media support to fellow CCAs at their events and activities.
Our CCA sessions are planned by the Executive Committee, and we have training sessions to equip members with the necessary skill sets. Rest assured that prior experience is not required, and we welcome all with open arms!
In Ardent, we deeply value and recognise the importance of artistic expression. Members have avenues to form production teams to create works ranging from cinematic videos to documentaries, under the Executive Committee’s mentorship. All our members also have access to our extensive inventory of photographic equipment, which includes Canon full-frame mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, ultra-wide-angle lenses, as well as monolights for studio work.
What makes Ardent unique is how much we invest in you. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an aspiring creative, you’ll gain access to professional training, mentorship, and our extensive gear. More than just learning technical skills, you’ll discover the art of visual storytelling, creative direction, and teamwork.
But Studio Ardent is more than cameras and cables. We’re a family of enthusiasts. Our commitment goes beyond honing media skills as members are given opportunities to collaborate in production teams, experimenting with everything from cinematic short films to event planning. We celebrate creativity through workshops, media showcases, and projects that let you push boundaries and share your vision.
If you have a passion for learning about photography, videography, or PA/AVA, then Studio Ardent is the place for you!
