Mindsports

Hwa Chong Mindsports is home to three intellectually stimulating games: International Chess, Chinese Chess, and Contract Bridge. Our CCA strives to create a vibrant and supportive platform where members can sharpen their minds, unlock their potential, and build lasting friendships with their peers.

Across all three sections, members are encouraged to push their boundaries under the guidance of dedicated coaches who inspire growth both on and off the board. Throughout the year, they gain valuable experience through competitions that test their skills against players from other schools. We also organise annual events to nurture holistic development and character.

As one of the CCAs with the highest membership, we bring together students from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared love for strategy and learning. Whether you are an experienced player or an absolute beginner, there is a place for you here. With an open mind and the willingness to learn, you will find Mindsports the perfect arena to grow, thrive, and discover the best version of yourself. (Tentative) CCA Sessions

• Odd Week Wednesday, 3pm – 6pm

• Even Week Wednesday, 9am – 12pm

• Odd and Even Week Friday, 4pm – 6pm

Open sessions will be held in January and February (details to be confirmed).

Requirements

• Have a strong passion in International Chess, Chinese Chess, or Contract Bridge

• Be dedicated to training and learning about International Chess, Chinese Chess, or Contract Bridge

• No prior experience is required in Contract Bridge, but applicants with prior experience will have an advantage when applying
